For the first part of the service, the whole church family is together - we sing and worship God, as well as bring our offerings to Him together. Thirty minutes into the service, the adults stay in church, pray together and look at God's Word, while the children go out to GBC Kids groups and continue church in an age appropriate way.

GBC Kids

In GBC Kids we love to spend time sharing our lives, the weeks we’ve had, exploring how God has moved among us, and establishing friendships for us to share through.

We achieve this through eating together (biscuits and squash), exploring biblical themes and stories, relating these to our everyday lives, playing games, arts and crafts, and simply spending time together.

All GBC Kids leaders and helpers are DBS checked and we adhere to our Safeguarding Policy.

Dedication Services for Babies and Children

Being a Baptist Church we do not baptise babies, simply because they are too young to decide to follow Jesus ('See the What do we believe?' page). But we believe that children are a precious gift from God and they need to be welcomed and their birth celebrated. 

We celebrate the coming of children with a special thanksgiving service called a Dedication, if you are interested please contact us for details.
